Actually what I am seeing looks like a #StatusNet renaissance on the migration of identi.ca and status.net. People (including me) are discovering all the other subnets.

I think it’s becoming clear that identi.ca is not #StatusNet . Lots of communities and fed instances live on.

It is rough around the edges, but I like where #pumpio is going. Federation features are superior to #statusnet.

@jrobb I can see #Statusnet gradually becoming abandonware, so even federating it & it being easily maintainable wouldn’t last that long
